The WILD Program was developed for STEM women, by STEM women. It is run by three under-40, PhD qualified women with the guidance of a high-profile advisory group.

Dr Udani Reets (B.Sc(Hons), PhD) has significant expertise in creating large-scale partnerships to support the translation of research into improvements in health policy and practice. The WILD Advisory Group
The WILD Advisory Group comprises of a mix of external representatives to engage with leaders in the STEM sector. This group provides the perspective of key stakeholder groups and provide advice and guidance to the Project Team.
Professor Darren Kelly, University of Melbourne (Chair)
Darren is the Associate Dean of Innovation and Enterprise at The University of Melbourne and Director of Biomedical Research at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, where his research focusses on progressing pre-clinical novel drug interventions for kidney disease. Concurrent to these roles, Darren in the CEO of OccuRx and Certa Therapeutics. He has over 25 years of management and research expertise in the life sciences sector. Learn more about Darren here.
Dr Amanda Caples, Victorian Government
Dr Amanda Caples is Victoria’s Lead Scientist. Amanda joined the Victorian public service in 2002 as the inaugural Director of Biotechnology and was subsequently appointed as the Executive Director Science and Technology to drive the state’s science agenda. In these roles, Amanda has led the development of industry sector strategy plans, delivered research-led health initiatives, regulatory and legislative scientific reforms and established international alliances. Dr Chris Nave, Brandon Capital Partners
Chris is a founding partner of Brandon Capital Partners and Managing Director of the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund. He was previously Director of Commercialisation at the Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, and Commercialisation Manager at Melbourne Ventures. Chris has extensive experience on private boards and has been involved directly in the management, fundraising, and successful spinout of various companies in the life sciences industry.
