WILD BoardX is an immersive 12-month program designed to launch the board careers of women leaders in Australia’s STEM sector. Over two years, fifty STEM-qualified women leaders will be aligned with fifty boards around Australia. Together with executive coaching, recruitment support and mentoring, WILD BoardX provides a unique opportunity for women STEM leaders to open doors into boardrooms and C-suites nationally.

Who’s eligible?

Applications for BoardX Observers are welcome from women (and non-binary) leaders with:

  • Postgraduate qualifications, or undergraduate qualifications (plus equivalent experience), in a STEM field (science / life sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics)
  • Minimum three years employment in non-academic professional experience in a STEM field
  • Minimum three years governance experience / reporting into a board
  • Formal board governance training (e.g. Australian Institute of Company Directors, or other)
  • Aspirations to become a board director in the next 12-24 months
